Title X Discussion

At our regular club meeting this evening we discussed the importance of the Title X Family Planning Grant.

Title X helps millions of low-income women access contraception and other essential health services. It is especially crucial because of the coverage gap created by many states' refusal to expand Medicaid coverage as laid out by the Affordable Care Act. Despite its extreme necessity to women and families across the country, Title X is again and again put at risk of reduced funding during the federal budget negotiations.

Club members tonight brainstormed and put together and infographic of reason not to cut funding to Title X in order to remind politicians and citizens just how crucial that assistance is.
